Welcome!  My name is Michelle Neubauer and I am a Lactation Specialist.  I am also a Registered Nurse and received my bachelors degree in 1998.  I have experience in pediatrics, including the Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatric Intensive Care units, as well as labor and delivery and post-partum.  I have spent countless hours helping and supporting Mothers and infants get started on the wonderful breastfeeding experience.  Now I would like to help and support Mothers and infants continue that breastfeeding experience. 

I have supported Mothers through engorgement, sore nipples, low milk supply, difficulty latching infants and breastfeeding twins.  I have helped Mothers use nipple shields, supplemental nursing systems (SNS) and hand expression as well as cup, spoon or finger-feeding as alternative feeding methods when interventions are needed with breastfeeding.
